David Robinson is a global technology executive with more than 25 years’ experience in delivering connected intelligence to organizations of all industries and sizes. A highly agile and naturally curious leader focused on driving customer trust and achieving business outcomes, he is committed to building high performing teams with diverse and complementary capabilities and harnessing a broad partner ecosystem to drive innovation through technology and ensure customer success. Appointed as President of SAP North America in January 2026, David Robinson oversees the company’s North America market units and leads sales operations across the broader Americas region. His focus is driving customer success, accelerating business transformation, and helping organizations realize the full value of their SAP solutions. David was previously President of Cloud ERP, where he was key in orchestrating cross-company collaboration to drive customers’ transformation journeys to the cloud through adoption of the SAP Business Suite and most recently served as Acting Head for the SAP US Public Services Business. Before his time with the Cloud ERP team, David held several senior executive positions within SAP. He was Head of Programs and Ecosystem in the RISE with SAP organization, as well as SVP and Managing Director of Customer Success, with responsibility for transitioning the company’s 60,000+ legacy core and line of business application customers to the cloud. He also held positions which saw him launching a global business unit with Alphabet’s Google Cloud, global end-to-end new market programs with Microsoft and AWS, as well as supporting one of our North America Presidents as Chief of Staff. Prior to joining SAP in 2004, David held leadership positions with technology software startups, including Clearcross and Nextlink. He continues to advise incubators, starts ups and innovators outside of SAP including serving on the advisory board of Virtru, a global leader in data privacy and protection. David is a family man who holds a master’s degree on business administration from the University of Virginia Darden Graduate School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in international finance from the American University.
