Efrain Vega brings over 25 years of extensive experience in domestic and international accounting operations including technical accounting (GAAP), internal controls implementation, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, audit management and ERP systems implementation. Most recently, Mr. Vega served as the Chief Financial Officer of the consumer lending division for a private-equity firm based in Miami, FL that focuses on specialty finance companies. Prior to that, he held CFO positions for Statetrust Bank & Trust, an international investment bank, and Brightpoint Latin America, a global leader in mobile devices lifecycle services. Mr. Vega holds a Bachelor of Science with a concentration in Accounting from the University of Puerto Rico and is a Certified Public Accountant.
