Andrew (Andy) McKay was appointed Director of SAP S/4HANA Implementation at Jaguar Land Rover in July 2024, following a successful 10-month tenure as Interim Director. He recently led the company’s first factory implementation of SAP S/4HANA, marking a major milestone in JLR’s digital transformation journey. Since joining JLR over five years ago, Andy has held several strategic roles, most recently within the IDT (Digital) CPS (Create Products and Services) domain, where he was responsible for shaping and executing the digital strategy for Product Lifecycle Management. In his current role, Andy holds end-to-end accountability for JLR’s enterprise resource planning (ERP) transformation. He oversees a complex ecosystem of processes and technologies, driving strategic focus on delivery, quality, and performance excellence across the programme. Before joining JLR, Andy built a distinguished career in the aerospace and defence sector, where he held a variety of global technical and leadership roles, including Assistant Chief Design Engineer and Global Head of Engineering Capability. Andy’s leadership foundations were forged during his service in the British Armed Forces, where he developed a resilient, people-focused leadership style under high-pressure conditions. This experience continues to shape his relentless work ethic and commitment to team success. Throughout his career, Andy has been guided by a strong sense of integrity and a passion for making a meaningful impact. His leadership of the SAP S/4HANA implementation stands as a testament to his ability to deliver complex, high-value transformation programmes on a global scale.
